Malik Abdul Wahab received his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical engineering (High distinction) from Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of engineering sciences and Technology, Pakistan. For his Master’s degree he joined Prof. Yegan Erdem’s laboratory in Mechanical engineering department at Bilkent university, Ankara, Turkey. His master’s thesis was focused on synthesis of composite nanoparticles for drug delivery applications using droplet-based microfluidics. Recently he joined CODOBIO and has been awarded a Marie Skoldwoska-Curie actions PhD fellowship under the supervision of Prof. Raquel Aires Barros.
Research Focus:
“Miniaturized platform to capture bio products through liquid-liquid extraction”. Design and fabrication of microfluidic platforms for purification of biological samples using aqueous two-phase system.
